Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about OrderPolice and how it protects your Shopline store from COD fraud.

What is OrderPolice?
OrderPolice is a powerful app designed specifically for Shopline merchants to mitigate Cash on Delivery (COD) fraud. We analyze incoming COD orders using advanced AI models and assign risk scores so you can make informed decisions before shipping.
How does the AI Risk Analyzer work?
Our AI Risk Analyzer evaluates dozens of data points from each order, including customer details, shipping address, order value, and historical Return to Origin (RTO) data. It synthesizes this information to classify the order as Low, Medium, or High risk, and provides a clear summary of why the score was assigned.
Can I automate actions based on risk scores?
Yes! With our Automation Rules, you can set up powerful workflows. For example, you can choose to automatically cancel and tag high-risk orders, require manual approval for medium-risk orders, or even send a WhatsApp/Email verification link to the customer to confirm their intent to purchase.
Do I need to check orders manually?
You don't have to, but you can. While Automation Rules handle routine tasks, our intuitive Dashboard and COD Risk Analyzer page allow you to review specific high-risk orders, view the AI summary, and manually approve or reject them as you see fit.
Is a Shopline account required to use OrderPolice?
Yes, OrderPolice runs exclusively on the Shopline platform. You must connect your Shopline store to install the app and sync your orders for analysis.
What is RTO tracking?
RTO stands for "Return to Origin." OrderPolice tracks orders that were sent back without being delivered. We use this history associated with customer addresses to better predict future delivery success and protect your margins from serial non-acceptors.
