OrderPolice (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use our service for Shopline stores.

1. Data We Collect

Account & store data: When you connect your Shopline store, we receive and store information such as your store domain, store name, merchant email, and OAuth tokens needed to sync orders and provide the service.

Order data: We sync order information from your Shopline store, including order IDs, customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, order totals, payment method, and order status. This data is used to run our AI risk analysis and automation rules.

Usage data: We may log how you use the app (e.g. pages visited, actions taken) to improve the product and troubleshoot issues.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data above to:

• Provide and operate the OrderPolice service (COD risk analysis, automation rules, notifications, and reporting).
• Run our AI risk assessment on COD orders and display risk scores and summaries to you.
• Execute automation rules you configure (e.g. approve, reject, request verification, cancel orders).
• Send confirmation links to customers when you use the verification feature (e.g. email or SMS).
• Process subscription and billing where applicable.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only:

• With Shopline as necessary to operate the app (e.g. API access, webhooks).
• With service providers that help us run the app (e.g. hosting, AI providers for risk scoring), under strict confidentiality.
• When required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored on secure servers. We retain store and order data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you uninstall the app or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data in line with our data retention practices and applicable law.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use session and authentication-related data (and may use cookies or local storage) to keep you logged in and to remember preferences (e.g. theme). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data (encryption, access controls, secure APIs). You are responsible for keeping your Shopline and OrderPolice access secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, or to data portability. You can contact us to exercise these rights. You may also disconnect the app from your Shopline store, which will stop new data from being synced.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of OrderPolice after changes means you accept the updated policy.
